Project overview

Gainesville Solar Project (Gainesville PV, LLC) is a 5.00-megawatt (MW) solar photovoltaic (PV) array system proposed to be located at 5000 Route 19 in the Town of Gainesville, New York. As proposed, the Project will occupy approximately 24.8 acres.

The Project will consist of ground-mounted solar PV modules installed on single-axis tracking racking, together with inverters, transformer equipment, underground electrical collection lines, perimeter wildlife-friendly fencing, vegetative screening, and a 16-foot-wide permeable access road.

RIC Energy has received an interconnection study from New York State Electric & Gas (NYSEG) that confirms availability within the electric power grid via the 34.5 kV three-phase distribution circuit along Route 19 which feeds into the Gainesville 594 substation.
